  • Accepted abstracts must be presented either onsite or online by one of the registered authors.
  • All presenting authors and conference delegates are required to pay the conference registration fee (onsite in cash or by bank transfer) and are responsible for booking their own flights to the (international) airport of Djerba or to Tunis Carthage airport with a connecting flight (45 mins) to Djerba.
  • The registration fee covers the stay in the conference hotel in a double room (shared with another participant) and full board (meals and coffee breaks). An additional fee is applicable for a single room.
  • All accepted abstracts should be presented orally during the regular sessions (using PPT slides for 12 mins max) or the e-Poster sessions (using one slide on a large screen for 7 mins max).
  • Authors who would prefer to present online without attending the conference in person should select the option “virtual presentation” during the registration process.
  • Authors of accepted abstracts will be sent more details on how to prepare and present (online or onsite) their PPT slides or e-Poster slide using the conference template. After preparing the presentation, authors will be requested to submit it online (via the submission system) before 15th November 2020.
  • Templates for the PPT and e-Poster presentations will be sent only to the authors who have confirmed their registration (by paying the fee online or by sending copies of their flight tickets as confirmation of attendance if they wish to pay onsite).
  • The final conference program will be sent to all authors and delegates before 15th November 2020.
  • All presenters should arrive at the designated room / poster hall 15 minutes before the start of their session to report to the session chairs and to check their presentation files. A copy of the presentation must be available on a USB flash drive to cover any eventuality.
  • Authors who plan to present online (i.e. without attending the conference in person) should also register online and pay the registration fee. They will be contacted one week before the date of their session to test the online tool and check the smooth running of their PPT presentation.
