An additional goal is\u00a0to increase the involvement\u00a0of stakeholders on the conference issues using the power of art and image communication techniques,\u00a0creating images that can focus people on the emerging topics. In this contest, Science and Art will work together for disseminating environmental\u00a0sustainability.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css_animation=&#8221;fadeInLeft&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1510339513764{padding-top: 30px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;}&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/6&#8243;][mk_fancy_title font_family=&#8221;none&#8221;][\/mk_fancy_title][vc_single_image image=&#8221;15081&#8243; img_size=&#8221;100&#215;100&#8243;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;5\/6&#8243;][mk_fancy_title size=&#8221;24&#8243; color=&#8221;#0e76bc&#8221; text_transform=&#8221;capitalize&#8221; letter_spacing=&#8221;2&#8243; font_family=&#8221;none&#8221; margin_bottom=&#8221;30&#8243;]\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">GUIDELINES AND BOARD<\/p>\n[\/mk_fancy_title][vc_column_text]For the correct realisation of your proposals, keep in consideration the following guidelines:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Artwork dimensions: <\/strong>ISOA3 horizontal (420 x 297 mm) or vertical (297 x 420 mm).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Subject: <\/strong>The artwork must be inspired by one of the different main topics of the conference:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Nexus framework and governance <\/strong>(Nexus from the energy perspective;\u00a0Nexus from the water perspective related to energy;\u00a0Existing tools and models in analyzing the nexus;\u00a0Land, climate and energy constraints on water and food sectors; Governance challenges in the Water-Energy Nexus;\u00a0Governance in supporting innovations in renewable energies and mitigating climate change impacts;\u00a0Investment and finance for energy and water infrastructure.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Environmental technologies for the sustainable development of the water sector\u00a0<\/strong>(Water-energy nexus\/energy saving technology;\u00a0Nutrients\/hazardous substances control;\u00a0Appropriate water\/wastewater technologies for developing countries;\u00a0Advanced technology or Nature-based solutions for water;\u00a0Green technologies for sustainable water and wastewater management;\u00a0Renewable\/valuable resources recovery and utilization;\u00a0Wastewater\/waste to energy)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Future clean energy technologies and systems under water constraints \u00a0<\/strong>(Water needs in the energy systems such as power plants, fuel refineries, renewable energy development, and carbon capture &amp; storage, etc.;\u00a0Energy needs for water supply and agriculture: extraction, transportation, and disposal of water, livestock production, fertilizer production, irrigation, food transportation etc.;\u00a0Agriculture and land-use impacts on future energy systems;\u00a0Future urban energy systems with considerations of water and food security)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Implementation and best practices\u00a0<\/strong>(Technology innovations for supporting global secure access to clean energy and water;\u00a0Reductions in water and wastewater utility operational costs through energy efficiency improvements;\u00a0Case studies of innovative technologies and policies in municipalities and industries for energy and water savings;\u00a0Energy and water consumption and balance flows of urban and industrial systems).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Style and Technique: <\/strong>you are invited to translate in a contemporary style your personal interpretation of the subject. There is no limit on the technique as long as the submission file respects the guidelines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Board: <\/strong>The commission for the evaluation of the artworks will be composed by the following international experts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>dr. Hugo Barros <strong>Costa\u00a0<\/strong>(Spain);<\/li>\n<li>prof. Marcel <strong>Sanchez\u00a0<\/strong>(USA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The selection of the winner by the board will be the result of an unquestionable evaluation, and it will take into account originality, feasibility and consistency with the brief presented.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission: <\/strong>the artwork must be submitted filling the application form reporting all data for the Authors. Artwork image will be admitted in the following format: extension \u201cTIF\u201d, 300 dpi, A3 dimension, maximum size 25Mb (each). A title, an abstract of max 500 words and 3 keywords are required. All documents must be submitted in one zipped file. The authors that\u00a0intend to participate with more than one artwork need to submit each artwork separately using the submission form. Decisions will be based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>originality and newness;<\/li>\n<li>feasibility and consistency with the topic presented;<\/li>\n<li>effective communication of the central ideas of the artwork.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Selected works will be exhibited in the conference venue during the event. All winners will be presented with a commemorative certificate and will be acknowledged during the closing ceremony. All participants\u00a0could see their works published after the conference in a commemorative art book where a brief biography of the winners will be also included.
